What else can I say? I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place. Jean’s been brushing me off for Duncan more and more nowadays. I don’t feel so annoyed about it, which is weird. Maybe because of how my friendship with Rogue is going. It’s at that ‘oh shit’ mode. Where you wonder what you feel is love or lust. We’ve only been away from the house for a day or so. I’m now lying here pretending to sleep. Have you ever tried to sleep next to a warm body? A warm body that before, if you touched you’d nearly die? Well, I can touch her now. Thanks to Hank and the Prof.

When I’ve touched Jean before, she didn’t feel happy. When you touch the one you care about you should feel something. With Rogue, it’s nice. It’s like a current is running through her or something. I’ve wanted to touch her without her gloves for awhile. And now it’s difficult to stop touching her. And kissing her for that matter.

I haven’t put on my glasses on yet. I almost like it. When you’re blind, other senses turn up. All those years of being a runaway was hard. But being a mutant with deadly eyes ties in with that. I can tell how a person is just by touch. It’s not a mutant ability or anything. Just a blind trait I guess. Rogue’s skin feels silky. I guess all that comes with being covered up 24/7.

There’s a lot of things I’m wanting to ask her. Like how did she live with her life before her powers. Did she feel like a freak at all? I finally give up and put on my shades. I hate this, not being able to see in color.
